2010-2011 Valley Aquatics
Coaching Update
We are pleased to
announce our coaching assignments for the fall season. We are making a few changes to
better serve all or our athletes. Coach Megan will be with us in the
fall and then will be leaving to do some traveling before heading
off to Graduate school. We are also pleased to be hiring a
new Head Age Group coach, Seth Dawson who will oversee the age
group program and work with Patrick and Rob to align and build the
programs at all three pools. Coach Seth comes to us from Mt.
Hood aquatics in Oregon and has a VAST swimming background (see his
bio below). We are
excited to have Seth as part of our team.
Coaches:
Celebration Park: Rob and
Kayla will continue to work with the blue and bronze groups.
KCAC: Suzanne (and Megan
in the Fall) will coach the Bronze group. (I am very excited to start
working with the younger group and know this will give me an
opportunity to work with our fantastic group of swimmers and
balance time at home with Kyleigh)
Coach Seth will coach the silver
group (Megan will help in the fall with the transition) Seth will
also serve as the senior assistant coach and share duties of
coaching the Gold II group with Ted. Ted will still be the main coach
for the Gold Group.
Puyallup: Patrick will be the lead coach at
Puyallup once again (he will be at KCAC in September and October)
and coach the silver and bronze groups. We are currently in the process
of finding a coach for the blue group for our start up in November.
We are excited to have such a
great staff! Please
let me know if you have any questions.
